Meet our founder
Hello, my name is Gina Céspedes, Director of Number 1 Daycare.
Number 1 Daycare has been carefully designed to ensure your children receive the highest quality care and education, structured and balanced to meet each child’s individual needs.
Number 1 Daycare was established in 2010 to provide exceptional childcare, and we are delighted to say we have continued to grow.
A Dedicated Team Shaping Early Learning Experiences
At Number 1 Day Care, our team is made up of passionate early years teachers who genuinely care about each child’s individual journey. Every member of staff brings warmth, patience, and professional expertise into the classroom, creating an environment where children feel safe, understood, and encouraged to explore the world around them. We believe strong relationships between children and educators are the foundation of confident learning.
As a bilingual nursery, our team plays a key role in supporting children’s communication skills in more than one language. Our early childhood education teachers naturally integrate language learning into everyday routines, helping children develop strong listening, speaking, and social skills from an early age. This approach supports cognitive development while also celebrating cultural diversity in a meaningful and inclusive way.
Working within a bilingual day nursery requires more than technical knowledge. Our educators understand that emotional support, creativity, and adaptability are just as important as structured learning. Each early years teacher job description within our nursery reflects this balance — combining educational guidance with genuine care and attention for every child.
